Cool new tools

Post by JammerX19 »

Been eyeing up Craftsman's Max Axess socket sets as my deep-well sockets were cheap junk that weren't worth a damn. Sears had them on sale yesterday so I picked these up:

Basically they are hollow sockets that will slide down over any stud so you don't need deep-wells any more. In fact, they could pretty much replace your entire socket set. Very nifty idea, maybe it's been around forever but I only just heard about it.

Those have been around a long time, I think they were called the o wrench or o socket or something.seem like a good idea except for not bing compatible with normal sockets or extensions.

These came with adapters so you can use standard sockets if you want to. Not sure why you would.
