79 Fiat spider fuel issue?
79 fiat spider carb. with an electric fuel pump. Starts and runs fine then after it warms up just stops running. Will restart again immediately then increases in frequency ( every three minutes or so ) shutting down but will restart again no problem. It seems like not getting fuel but I checked the filter which is full and the fuel pressure is good. Could it be my coil over heating?

Check for spark when not starting, Also check idle solenoid in the carb.

Got it fixed! Turned out to be a combination of fuel pressure ( the pump was loosing pressure the longer it ran ) and spark. The coil was shot. Not enough to not run the car but once it warmed up the spark got really weak the fuel pressure did the same then the car would die. All fixed now and she runs great. Thanks for the advise.
