California Smog FAILED...ugh

So my car has been running soooooooo amazingly awesome this last few months. Finally just lovin' it.

PSYCH - California laws just put a major damper on the fun. Supposedly my car is a "Gross Polluter" ('78) and unfortunately just shy of 3 years from the "old car" exemption.

Looks like my new carb and air filter aren't cutting it. I'll have to put back on my old rusty air filter and possibly the old carb. Also need to get the timing/idle adjusted down (apparently so it dies again at stoplights :0).

Not happy.

you should be able to jet your carb to pass the test the factory air cleaner would be just for looks doing a
complete tune up is a good ideal before smog testing.
