Welcome,
I also have a 78 124 which I just started to work on. I just made some rotisserie stands and its going under the knife. I used to live in Houston. Now Im in New jersey. Don't just paint the outside. Look for the rust lurking in hidden places. This is an awesome Forum! Good luck with the car.

azygoustoyou,Best of luck. Were you meeting with the club in Houston? These guys are keeping me excited about working on the Fiat. The guy I biught the car from had it painted , but they must of had moisture somewhere. The paint has bubbles. I just bought a top for it and am planning on a new paint job in the summer. If you make a trip back down here try to do it during our tuesday meeting in Memorial park.Mazin

Hi Mazin,
I was too young to drive when I lived there. I haven't been to any Fiat outings. I can't wait to get to one. I think its good that there isn't meetings here every Tues. The urge is bad enough as it is to just want to get working on it. I just took off the front bumper today and man it was heavy. The back one is coming off next and they are staying off. I'll put something else on only if I have to. I like the front without it but I think the back would look a little funny without something there. Im going to restore the car the best I can.

Hi Ralph
Im in Franklinville NJ . It's about fifteen minutes north of Vineland. I think your about 1-1 1/2 hours north of me. Have you had your car on the road? I can't wait to drive mine. There's so many things I want to replace on the car. I'm running in circles trying to figure out what things to buy first. Some things are hard to find. Like nice rims!
