Plan on replacing this on a yearly basis

this sounds obsessive i would say ever 5 years would be more realistic

I see lots of these cars, and the pickups fail pretty regularly due to heat. They MIGHT last 5 yrs on a car that isn't driven much

Mines lasted 3 years - but I've only put 3000 kms on the car during that period. It rains a lot up here and I don't drive it in the rain!
