What is used to seal the base of the crankcase breather vapor separator?
I want to reseal it but need to know what to expect before I disable the car.
Gasket or O-ring?

Re: Gasket or O-ring?
I'm into mine as we speak. It's a round paper gasket, for an 1984 Spider. Hope this helps.

Re: Gasket or O-ring?
Thanks,
I just pulled mine apart. Cut a new gasket and installed it with permatex aviation gasket sealer.
Also applied some sealant to my dipstick tube.
This might just totally dry my engine up.
Good luck on yours.
