progress today. I found a couple of minutes to get some work done.....
Still lots to do, of course. But it's encouraging for me to see something getting done.
I'm no Boy-Racer..... but if I can't take every on-ramp at TWICE the posted limit.... I'm a total failure!

NIce work. I suggest you move the coil from right over and behind the snake header. Move it forward of it and you will not have any heat problems (been there, done that with the snakes). Tell me about those dual sets of air horns!

I think you're right about the coil. I hadn't considered the problem until I actually mounted the header last night. I'm trying to eliminate as much wiring as possible under the hood, especially the back-n-forth, which is why I thought I'd put it there. But that's awfully close, even after I wrap that header with header wrap.
the horns:
you can blame forum member "Rook1" for that. He once called my horns "weak". So I rebuilt the compressor, but still wasn't happy. So this time I'm going with DUAL compressors & horns. if that ain't loud enough for him...
Someday I'll need to break out a db meter....
