Cruzin to Colby 2012
Cruzin to Colby 2012
Monday was the local car show in Everett, WA. Heavily populated by American cars. Almost no British, and just one Italian (my 500 Abarth). Plenty of positive conversations with people, despite being parked away in a far corner, shared between my Abarth and the Gremlin parked next to me. My slide film (gasp!) is being developed at the moment...share some when it's done.

Ahh Colby. We cruised Colby in 65-66. Brings back memories.
When I saw American Grafitti it was just like I remembered those days.
Wish I could have been there with another Italian presence.

Our 500 Abarth was the ONLY Italian car there! One guy walked up to me and asked if I worked at XYZ. I stopped for a second and wondered...how did he know... He and I were at a stop light the second day I owned the car, and the two lanes merge to one right after the light - he (Porsche 914) wanted to race that morning and gunned it off the line. It being the second day of ownership, I was more casual with acceleration. But, then I held on to his bumper through the curves for the next curvy 1/4 mile. He remembered it and commented on how reactive the Fiat is!

Some amazing cars (and trucks) there. Your Abarth is lookin' good.
It's definetely the PNW, wet streets prove it.
