Multi-city vacation stop over
On Friday May 25th I'll be leaving behind the husle and busle, daily grind/rat race of Honolulu to take a vacation to the "mainland" for two weeks. Flying into Los Angles and staying the weekend, then onto Chicago for a day or two before driving down through Indinapolis to Cincinnati. I'll be staying in Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky for about a week and a half then back up to Chicago for a few days before returning to Honolulu on June 11th. I will also make a day trip down to Lexington Ky at some point.
If there is anyone along the way that would like to meet up to exchange parts, have a beer, or talk Fiats I'd be more than happy to oblige.
I'll be driving right by SoCal Mark's shop in Upland and will stop by to say high, and see what goodies he has for sale.
When I pass through Indinapolis I might stop and try to have lunch with Racydave at that good little dinner near his work.
If I get some time when I'm back in Chicago I may stop by Lee Putman's place to see his sweet spider and 131 wagon.
I'd also like to meet up with noKYspider in Northern Kentucky, see his new project car and give him a few tips.
Here is my contact info: matt.scarton@gmail.com (808) 206-1978

Please let me know what day you'll be at Mark's. If I can swing it I'll be there to meet you, shake your hand and thank you again for the parts you charged way too little for.

Razooli, it would be if it were " stop by to stay high"
Tony, I've met the Puttman, Racydave, but not Bouse, it would be a treat, but also a stretch. Chicago to Cincy is 4 hours now that they upped the speed limit. I know Michigan drivers go fast but how fast do you have to drive to make it from Detroit to Cincinnati in 3.5 hours? A meetup would work better around the 7-9 of June in Chicago.
Don, Sorry I won't be passing under the stainless arch this time.
Ron, I get into LAX at 6am Sat morning the 26th. I think we are renting a car and driving straight to my old friends house in Rancho Cucamonga. Either I'm visiting for a few hours, then hedding back into the city to stay until Mon morning, or will stay overnight then head to the city on Sunday. I think either way Saturday would be the day.

Cool! I'll try to get it off and be there. (Means I'll just have to work faster to get the cabinet install done by Fri. night.)

George, I wish. Someday I'll get up that way and have breakfast with the Jersey crew.
SoCal Mark, Do you hold shop hours on Saturdays? Care if Ron and I stop by and waste your time? Maybe you can put us to work.

Hey Matt, drift on down to Texas in your spare time and maybe we can hook up. If not I have friends in Hawaii that we plan on visiting within the year. Maybe then.

Re: Multi-city vacation stop over
We have had a number of MIM's (meeting in the middle) events where Mr Bouse and a number of other denizens meet up at a shiite hole bar in LaPorte Indiana (just a couple miles east of your route to Chi town from Indy). I am sure we could get a quorum of folks together to meet up if it fits into your schedule.

Darn it, I just read this today! Wish I would have known, I'm in Chicago and the Spider is in West Michigan. Would have enjoyed meeting you and crying into a couple of beers over our Fiats!
