Just watched "Defending your life". During a montage Albert Brooks' character buys a POS spider for $995 from a pair of unscrupulous car dealers (about 1:03:00 in).

There's also a Fiat Spider in the first "Fletch" movie with Chevy Chase. There's a scene where he is being chased and he jumps in a spider driven by the guy who played Jim Bob on "The Waltons."

Anyone remember Adam-12? My 11 year old and I play "Spot-the-spider". The re-runs are on here in Oz early mornings. (yep aussie TV sucks! ) The spider must have been real popular in LA in the early 70's ' cause there is at least one or two spiders in nearly every episode! ! 850's spiders too.

Found this scene in "Night Of The Comet". A very campy, end of the world type movie starring Robert Beltran (Chakotay from Star Trek Voyager.) Filmed in LA in 1984. Is that a 128?
