A sad day for any car guy.The great man has passed.His bio reads like the great American success story.May he rest in peace.

I just heard. He sure lived a good life and left us with a lot. I guess he was determined to see Shelby into its 50th year.

i dont know about rest in peace. My guess is he will be trying to hot-rod something on the other side. :wink:

yes, it's too bad about Shelby, but in my mind his reputation was tarnished a few years back when he "found" half a dozen
"original" Cobra frames in his warehouse and took orders for new cars at the going market price for an original Cobra. If he would have just told the truth about cashing in on the market frenzy of the time, the cars would have still sold for those ridiculous collector car auction prices.
