Sputtering backfiring and dieing

Hey Fiat friends how you doing? So want to give a update on my car, I previously posted on my car being a bear and not being able to get the darn thing running, thought the problem to be the ignition system and basically replaced the balast resistor, coil point to electronic ignition new plug wires and plugs, cap and roter were done last year. So I moved on to the carb and took it apart and cleaned it again and readjusted the float, same problems as previous no better. Got so bad after my adjustments to the air fuel mixture that I could barely get the car running. So finally found a mechanic that was willing to look at it and after having the car for three weeks of looking at it when he had free time he got the car to run super fatalistic for about half an hour and then once again it started sputtering and then dying, so he then evaluated that the carb must be good and moved back to the ignition. Turns out the roter was not firing all the time even though it was new. Every time I checked out the spark it seemed to be their but when he checked it it was intermittent. Put the old roter on and the car so far runs like a charm, so just in case anyone else seems to be having sputtering and backfiring problems you might want to check the parts that you put on your car to make it better, they may be faulty. Lets hope this ends this problem I got other thing to replace on the car. Hope this helps someone else. Have a good one Rob
