I have a 76 Spider and this last week when I turn the key sometimes, the fuel pump does not turn on. If I take the key out and start the process over, everything works fine. I'm pretty sure the problem is in the ignition switch itself...anyone have any ideas on how to work this problem out?

Replace the switch. A few folks have successfully disassembled the switch and cleaned the contacts.
