i got a new Weber dcnf, the accelerator pump does not work,WHY

probably filled with gold plating and the passages are now ruined

i got the carbs mixed up
i got a dfev 32/36 from direct carbs, and the accelerator pump is not working, why? and how would u fix that ?
it does move when it suppose too, just no gas when it opens up,that why it is back firing i guess

Remove the accelerator pump jet nozzle and activate the accelerator pump lever. See if gas comes out the port. If it does the accelerator pump is working and the discharge nozzle is clogged. Blow it out with compressed air. Try not to jab needles or wires in the discharge hole.

The plating is only a few microns thick and would not plug up the fuel passages.

this carb is not plated, i bought it new from the carb direct, has not worked since i put it on
if it it back fired thru the carb, what seems to be wrong, timing is on the mark
