My father bought a 1979 FIAT Spider 2000 about 12 years ago. Today, we still have it in our garage and I am hoping to breathe new life into it in the near future.
We primarily use it for going to the beach and cruising around in the summer.
It's black exterior (not original) / tan top and interior
NEEDS tires, a new soft top, and bodywork.
lots of other minor things of course.
just discovered the forum at random, hope to find some good things!

Welcome to the forum. Where are you located? There are great groups of entusiasts scattered around the country, and it's a blast to get a bunch of Spiders (and other Fiats) together for socializing and runs.

Hey Welcome,
Take a pic of that dang car and lets all see it. It is a carberated engine and has a lot of pollution control stuff that maybe some of the guys can help you get rid of. I think we can even make it go faster, if you wouldnt mind that. What city and state are you from?
