1.8L in a 1973 spider

I think I could put a 1.8L in my 1973 spider without changing the cross member? Am I correct? Will drop right in?

i have this exact setup in my car right now the only problem i had was the header didnt quite fit but i did get it on it was just a game of tetris with that long story short i got it in and everything runs fine u can even use the 73 trans it all bolts up the same its very easy
