I am finally working on getting the gas tank back in after cleaning and painting the tank and painting the trunk. And started replacing all the rubber lines, wehn I pulled the one way check valve out and found it to be quite gummed up. That leads me to beleieve that when I had it running a year an d a half ago, that it wasn't functioning.
Let it sit overnight in cleaning fluid and it is no longers clogged up. But upon inspection, it doesn't seem to be a check valve as you can see through one end and out the other.
Is it important or can I just not install one?
Kinda bummed that it doesn't seem to working and might have to locate another ..... oh well ... heading back to the shop ,,,,
BTW - I have picked up a ton of info from reading from all on the Forum... Thx
