Hi to all;
I damaged my crank pulley nut when removing it and need a new one for reassembly.
I have tried my usual supplyer (Middle Barton Garage) but they do not have one.
does anyone have one I can buy please ?
thanks
Geoff

Hi Geoff,
What engine have you got and where are you?
I'm fairly sure the later 2000 engines have a left hand thread.

Re: crank pulley nut
Hi
It is an '81 2.0L injection and it has a normal threaded nut - but the nut has a shoulder so I cannot use just any other nut.
It is the earlier engines that used a left hand threaded bolt instead of a nut - I think. Certainly mine is a nut.
I am not very close to you - I live in France - but if the only one I can find isq in OZ - then I am happy to pay the postage.
Regards
geoff

Well, as most of the french... Sadly, I live in Quebec. I love BC it´s really a wonderful province. The mountains falling into the sea, can it be better then that?
