...a good source for interior components. Specifically, I think I will be needing door panels and the door arm rest for both sides.
Is there one source that virtually everyone on this forum uses? Or is some detective work in order?
Tnx,
How about...

On the other side of the country (Windsor CA) is Auto Italia... used parts. I bought my door panels and consols from Ital motors in Edmonton, but I believe they ordered them from Italy, much like the regular vendors.

Re: How about...
Doc,
Up in Baltimore, you have Di Fatta Brothers (http://www.difatta.com), and right over in Charlotesville is International Auto Parts (http://www.international-auto.com). Mostly, they will have tune up & mechanical parts.
Up in DC you should connect with DC Fiats and John Erskine at the DC Fiat rescue. You'll be shocked at what great bits & pieces John will have! The DC Fiats group is excellent & fun to hang out with.
Also of note - the Fiat Freak Out (National Convention) is the first weekend in August this year at the Wintergreen ski resort. Lots of parts & lies will be traded in the parking lot there!

Re: How about...
Thanks for the responses, fellas.
I have not seen the car up close yet. I do hope it turns out to be worth the price.
I am on travel until Saturday but will take a look Saturday evening.
We shall see.

I've seen the IAP door cards; Frank Battaglia has them installed on his award-winning Spider. They look very nice.

I REALLY like the door panels from IAP.baltobernie wrote:I've seen the IAP door cards; Frank Battaglia has them installed on his award-winning Spider. They look very nice.
I'm just waiting for the vent window rubber to install them, that and dithering over recovering the top sills in black.
....I'm going to have to do it eventually.
Ciao,
Mark

Hey Mark,
I've heard getting the vent window rubber installed is a b_tch. Let me know how it goes for you. I need them bad but am very reluctant.
So I hear your Spider mentor is Scott. You couldn't fine a better teacher. He's one of the many NJ guys who's support, advise and help I'd be lost without.

Re: How about...
Thanks again for the continued conversation.
As I am no longer looking at the 75, I think I will not need interior door cards.
I am looking at an 81 which is in much much better condition.
$3700.00.
I will keep y'all posted.
