Nothing registering on gauges at all

Post by Gopher »

Fired up the car today just to run it (didn't drive it), but noticed that I wasn't getting ANYTHING from ANY of the gauges...no tach, no oil press, no temp, nada. Guess I am going hunting and cleaning connections.

Fuses are all good. Are there any hidden anywhere?

this recently happened to me when i took the plastic center panel piece out to replace the small wood pieces. As I was driving one of the lights or switches must have grounded and it blew a fuse (i think it was #7) Double check those fuses

sorry to be redundant

A problem I run accross is the contacts in the fuse holders can get corroded to a point current does not get through. I have taken a dremel and a small wire brush type thing and gave each top and bottom a dose of scouring.Fine sandpaper would do the same I suppose.
