lowering just the front

Post by georgeramos »

My car sits about 1" higher in front than the rear. The rear height is one that I like so is there a way to lower the front by about that much. I'm not keen on cutting springs but Id be OK replacing them with progressive ones or something likethat. Is there a specific spring that I can buy (can you buy just 2 springs?) to lower things a bit. Is it typical for a 71 to be a bit higher in the front? The rear shocks, springs etc seem fine. i swapped in the long trailing arms today and may add new bushings to the OEM ones to "double up" per my last post...

Thanks

Koni's lowered mine I think a little less than an inch and the lower A arm is still parallel to the ground. (a good thing)
