What size socket do you need to remove spark plugs?RESOLVED

I purchased some new spark plugs today with the hope of putting them in. I took my 5/8" extended socket and much to my surprise it was too small?

I use a 13/16 on mine spark plug spark plug socket with the rubber insert and it works great. Don't know if there is a metric size for it.

those plugs require a 13/16" socket

my own ignorance on this one, I thought that all spark plugs had the same hexagon size (5/8")
