missed that in the original post, but meet by 2pm. One of the X 1/9 web members is running his 300hp X in an SCCA timed event at Calif Speedway Saturday so our run may be out to the track to catch some runs.

For the members who live in cooler climes, weather forecast for our get-together out here, sunny; 0% chance of rain; 78-80 deg.s. Sorry for rubbing it in. (Not really, it's a perk we get for having to live in Ca.) How's your weather Mike Bouse? Ron

Some more pictures, from rlux4 (Ron) the only one who showed up with his wife. She's thinking the other wives will be down on her when their husbands get home and say "You should have gone, Ron's wife went with him". The first picture is Ron and Mark, label it "Two old guys having fun!" Hal Gaylord's silver streak: 5.0 litre FI, stretched 7" to accept engine. Corvette twin tail lights shown on Marks post. Incredible details every where on this car: a Spider to test on the 1/4 mi.!

I thought that was a pic from the old folks home. I heard a couple of demented seniors had escaped.
Here's another pic of Hal's Ford Spider

It was great meeting every one on Saturday! I wish I could have gone on the run (2 freaking birthday parties) but I was just glad to have made it to the begining! Looking forward to this sunday (17th) and many many more in the future!
