I was prepping Fiona today for the POR15 application when just as I was going to open the can I smelled gas

Does anybody know sizes and lengths required? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I took a chunk to the local jobber store to match or get real close and bought 20 feet and a flaring tool.

If the car is injected be sure to use hose rater for fuel injection! Size is 5/16", or 8mm.
At most auto part stores you can even buy 5/16" metal fuel line in 5 ft lengths.

Hi Jay,

I got some hosing from these guys in Edmonton. Their closest outlet to you appears to be in Montreal, but they will ship phone orders. They were really helpful to me, so maybe they'll be good to you, too:

Jay - Sorry I'm not available to help. I have about 15' of spare metal line, plus some rubber - all of which I got at NAPA. They should be able to fix you up.

when doing fuel lines and not flared
i use 2 clamps on each end
if you get it flared"at a local garage"
you wont need 2
but if one still leaks...

Took the plunge solo and put in new gas lines. Special thanks to all on this forum. Confidence level is higher then when I started. Ran her through multiple cooling fan cycles and no leaks. Also installed nylon filter. Bought face shield makes a huge difference. Next project: this weekend POR15, heat/sound shield, new carpets, new alternator and hopefully lots of driving
