Engine dies...

I went to start my 1981 spider FI. It starts then after a few seconds dies. It ran great last time I took it out an few days ago. What should I look for?

does it restart after stalling? If so, your aux air valve may be bad. If it doesn't restart, you may be running on just the cold start injector. Have you checked the intake air boot to make sure it's connected?

Your injectors may not be pulsing. Use a noid light to see if they're getting pulse signal. If they're not, first check that the two grounds located on the rear/outboard side of the intake plenum are clean and tight, next you'd need to check the dual relay's functioning.
