Water pump brand

Would appreciate suggestions on what would be the best brand of water pump I should buy and where?

I have seen them on both IAP and AutoRicambi web sites, but the images appear different. They are probably available through other vendors as well. I'm not sure if they all are from the same mfgr. I have also seen them on Rock Auto's site, and the image there looks like a match for what I saw on one of the above vendor's sites.

We carry GMB brand waterpumps (made in Japan), as they do not have the overheating problems that the cast-impeller Italian made pumps do on 2 liters with the in-head thermostat conversion. We've sold hundreds of them and never had to warranty one.

Are you saying the GMB's have plastic impellers? Only asking because I was looking at those recently and couldn't find an answer.

Heck no
Mind you, I have seen plastic impellers on some 124 pumps.
The GMB has a stamped steel impeller that has a more open design that the cast ones.
