I am trying to remove the door handles. I believe I am supposed to pop the plastic pieces off a small "ball shaped mount" to remove the small bar in order to pull the handle off. However, with the plastic being 35 years old, I wanted to make sure this was the right way to do it and how likely people thought that the plastic is just going to break regardless of how I do it.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Re: How to Remove 76 Door Handle
Smart guy thinking the plastic can break because they do. I have broken a couple really brittle ones but a screwdriver twisting the end off VERY carefully usually works for me. Getting them back on..... bit of lube sometimes helps.
