Clutch adjustment ?

Post by Ky2000 »

My clutch was adjusted so tight that all it took was 1" of pedel movement to engage no free play at all. I adjusted it so there is 1" of free play, and then it starts to engage. It may have been ok, but i thought it was way to tight. Pedel was hard as a rock.I can always tighten it back some if needed. What do you guy think?

Manuals call for 1" of free play at pedal.

Ok thanks. I'll drive it for awhile and see if it feels better. I think it was so tight that it could have slipped under a load. :D
