EMPI 32/36 proper jetting?

Post by dougburdick »

Does anyone know the correct jet sizes for the 32/36 on a 2lt with HC pistons(8mm domes) and larger intake valves? I have a used 32/36 EMPI that supposedly came off a BMW 3lt, and I'm sure it's running rich! :?:

What jetting does it have now?
I would likely start with 130/135 mains, and do plugs checks at cruise and full throttle.

I would expect the low speed jet to be a 60 for a 2l

Ok vandor and Mark, not to sound ignorant but, by main, we are talking about the ones in the float chamber yes? If so, those are both 140 I think. Mark, where is the idle jet on an EMPI?

the low speed jet is on the side, just above the accelerator pump
