Door Hinge Hardware ID

Post by RRoller123 »

Can anyone tell me what the size is for this bolt that is obviously missing from the door hinge system? Thanks. Pete.

Thread pitch is: M8X1.5 Bolt head will be a 13mm I can't remember if there is a captive nut back there or if you need to add a nut when you insert the bolt.

Thanks muchly! There appears to be a captive back there so it will be an easy fix. Pete.

that bolt holds the top of the door retainer. it should (and looks like) the threaded insert is still intact. As i recall the fastener should have a flat washer and star washer.

That bolt has a 10mm head, and the thread is 6x1.0mm. About 12mm long.

BTW, M8 bolts on Fiats are 1.25 pitch, not 1.5.

Thanks, I will get out today and buy the parts. One little step at a time as my stitches slowly heal.
