Winter Grill Cover?

Post by opus10583 »

Hi,

There are a number of winter grill covers available for various FIAT models on ebay right now, and my CS1 can't seem to get warm enough with the winter chill set in; did the 124 Spider have a winter grill cover/baffle as well?

Thanks,
Mark

Years ago when I lived in W.Pa a piece of card board did the trick.

Check your thermostat. If your cooling system is working correctly it should work in any temp. Blocking air to the radiator is a band aid, not a solution to a problem.

Certainly a consideration but, the factory supplied these things when new so there's something else here as well.

I do remember my first Spider (used to me) came with a Coupe's grill shroud.

That one was just a vinyl panel with flaps, these newer one's I've seen seem engineered.

Thanks,
Mark
