While I'm at it...

Post by opus10583 »

Hi,

I've several projects to tackle this winter, if I ever get my car back and into a garage, but the 'might as wells' are already taking over:

Have to drain the coolant system to tie up the water choke line when I replace the ADFH with a DFEV...

Might as well: Replace the heater pipe with no-nipple SS... Might as well: replace the heater valve... Might as well pull the head and have the valve guides replaced... Might as well: install big valves and 3-cut seats... Might as well: Port match...

Pulling the seats and consoles and "old linoleum" for proper sound barrier/insulation/carpet...

Might as well: Replace the heater valve and BOTH pipes, and the heater valve cable, and the heater CORE!!!

...I'm never going to actually drive this car, am I?

Ciao,
Mark
