Rear disc removal

Post by txSteve »

I am replacing discs all around. The front discs pulled off no problem. However, the rear ones will not pull off; either of them. Am I missing some step to get those off?

They should come right off, same as the front. are they rusted to the axles?

When I replaced my front disks, I had to beat them with a dead blow hammer to remove them. I used some anti-seize between the mating surfaced so they wouldn't rust together in the future.

A little PB and few swings from my little sledge and it came off. this seems to be a recurring troubleshooting step ;)
