We are super excited with this last purchase....1980 Spider! Where do we go for a manual that will be our guide through this restoration journey?

the best book is the factory manual, mostly available as a reprint. Haynes, Clymer and Brooklands can be found on ebay as they are all out of print. The aftermarket books are pretty cheap and do have some good info, but the factory book has the most info. IAP may still have some, otherwise it's ebay for that also. Most of us have found you can't have too many sources, so the more of those books you can find the better off you'll be

I got a reprint. quality stinks, I didn't know it was a reprint, but I should have guessed because it was so cheap.

I'm in the process of scanning my reprint so others don't have to pay for it, although , it might be worth it so you don't have to print it out yourself. What I do have so far is posted on my website for download

Congrats on your '80! You will love the restoration journey you are about to take.

We can help you on that journey, and so can our many fine vendors. Check out these:

to name only a few. Read some posts on this forum, and other forums...and you will learn quickly which vendors to stay away from.
