I think this comment sums-up his age. or at least his life-experience.

The fact is, if there is no accountability from the customer-base, then why not hose someone? That's exactly what the "feedback" on Ebay was intended to be: a check-and-balance method. There must be accountability in ANY system, and right now the only recourse Brady has is this forum.
The fact that Mark has not shut him down suggests to me that Mark is still working on a resolution, or is hoping one will be presented. However: the fact that he has not chimed-in here suggests to me that he doesn't know HOW to fix this, because he is unwilling (or unable) to offer a refund and take the header back. I am trying to imagine what it is like to be in Mark's shoes right now. it is far too easy for me to relate to Brady, because earlier this year a different (long-time) member of this forum hosed me for $1000+. And then disappeared. I know what that feels like, having to finally throw-away the parts that you spent WAAAY too much money on and are junk....

Fiat218, I'm also trying to figure-out what your game is (though I'm not going to think about it for too long), because you're coming-off as a seriously mentally-challenged individual. or you're 9 yrs old. Either way, your behavior can be forgiven and overlooked. However; if neither are true, then I have to think you're just a jack-ass. But if you're not, and you're actually serious, then why don't you just send Brady $700. then he can ship you the header. I'm sure he'll do it soon, you can trust him, because you've seen him post on the internet, right?

When I log on to this site this thread is one of the first places I go, not to see what’s going on here now but to see the progress on a very nice car.
I have bought a lot of stuff from Mark and I have had a few problems but I called Mark and in every instance he has taken care of it to both our satisfaction and I believe he will do it for Brady. What goes on between Mark and Brady is their business and I don’t think its any of mine.

I agree Ken.... except that the header is on my list of "must haves" for my car. And this makes the 3rd instance that I am aware of where there have been problems with the sale of one of these headers, so I am VERY interested in how it gets resolved. I still think this is an appropriate forum for that discussion. But I think it should remain civil and above board, and allow the parties involved the benefit of the doubt, on both sides. My comment is that so far we've only heard one side, and that points to a lack of willingness to resolve an unfortunate situation. I hope that is not the case.

218 is certainly doing his part to mix this all up. I guess he's allowed.... ?? I think that is ALSO a case of the moderator being absent, because the language and offensive tone of his posts have not been tolerated in other threads.

How about some new pics of this awesome project. I'l like to drool over 1st hand Italian design improvisations rather than be a fool and offer 3rd party commentary on a business issue. We all own cars from 26-45 years old that we love. with older cars and custom parts things will often not work out 100%. This forum has been a place to help resolve issue. Let's not let it become a place that creates them. I hope the current problem is resolved so I can see a true piece of art in the making. FFO 2011 was awesome. I may have to go to FFO 2012 (wherever it will be) just to see this car 1st hand.
Buon giro a tutti! - enjoy the ride!

FFO 12 will be at Wintergreen Resort near Charlottesville,Va. http://www.wintergreenresort.com/Accommodations-Home/ The folks from IAP are instrumental in putting on this years event. The Wintergreen is a ski resort,in the Blue Ridge mountains.I will be posting a link with a preview,as soon as it is ready. All rooms there have full kitchens,fireplaces,etc... Cost will be about the same as last year. Some highlights are a IAP tour and a track day at VIR.Possibly a visit to the safety institute where they crash cars for insurance ratings

I want to say that it hurt that I had to post this at all. I don't like taking sides or making enemies. I have always felt that no matter what has happened, there could always be way to fix things. I have tried several times to work this out. I've also purchased several items from Mark and was pleased with them. I just don't understand why after two attempts of getting a header I'm cut off with the only option to do an insurance claim. I'm tired of waiting for some reasoning. I would like to say there are no hard feelings toward anyone. I still want this header and would prefer it undamaged. I could be banished from this site. I don't care any longer. There are other sites to show my work though I've always like coming here to share with great people. I would like to extend an offer to Mark to email or call me so we could resolve this. My "More Progress" post is turning out for the worst. I appreciate every ones thoughts good or bad. That's what this forum is for, talking about our cars and issues we have with them.

I do hope it works out. I had an issue with a part there...sent it back and recieved a replacement. I'm happy and have continued to purchase from there. My part was small so shipping was not really an issue in my instance though.
Damaged in transit? how do you sort that one out. Anyway hope this carries on as MORE PROGRESS with your car Brady..

I have sat by silently for quite sometime to finally see the day where Allison starts hanging himself, as well as a few other unscrupulous individuals in this thread who claim innocense from any wrong doings.

I had my run ins with this individual and now, the professionalism and mannerisms he so genuinely displayed finally sees the light. Allison thinks he can do as he pleases and save his reputation from negative publicity but in the end, it will ring loud and clear throughout the world and to the "land down under."

He has his loyalists, who are nothing but blinded by the light and continue to look at that light like deer looking at headlights.

All I have to say is, "What comes around certainly goes around."
