Beautiful rebuild Brady, a real credit to you. I hope you get the headers issue sorted amicably.

Are you really going to fit a single carby ? I can't believe you've done all that customising without topping it off with a pair of polished Webers - I'd do for the sound alone  .

Hi Curly,
Thanks. I thought I'd wait to get it all together first before putting money in the engine. I do plan on doing upgrades there when money is available.

I am a little concerned over the lack of response from Allison's over the header issue. I understand that this is a privately owned site but the owner gets a lot of business from its members. I personally have spent over 700 dollars at this business and had planned to buy the same header setup. I have been happy so far with the products and service i have recieved from Allisons but I don't think that it is unreasonable for us as member to expect a response to a legitimate concern.

Respectfully,

huh..... based on my observations of the "Views" monitor, I'd suggest this thread is being watched MUCH more closely by a LOT of people than the not-insignificant number of posts would indicate. It seems a shame that we haven't heard ANYTHING about a resolution. I can think of very few reasons a person wouldn't want their own side of an issue to be aired. Particularly if that person were still actively trying to find a satisfactory resolution.

I suspect there has been a resolution - but not a satisfactory one from Brady's standpoint.

If I had a car with that much time and money into it,I dont think I would want to"live with' a dented up exhaust system.I agree with Maytag, why hasnt this been resolved?

I'm gonna go ahead and say you're out of your damn mind. $700 is a significant amount of money. If you can afford to piss away that much money, great for you. give the money to Brady if that's the case. You post a whole lot of nonsense, and its really not necessary right now. This is a legitimate issue that the forum as a collective deserves to see sorted out fairly. So pull your head out of your ass and wise up.

Purely from an outsider's point of view (very far away outsider  ) I'd love to see a satisfactory resolution to this issue. I buy just about all of my Fiat Spider parts from US vendors (and pay through the nose for shipping  ), and I steer away from those who have a history of poor customer service. This website, directly and indirectly has steered me toward certain vendors and away from others. I have spent thousands of Aussie dollars importing parts from several well known vendors and have had excellent service. I'm sure others have scanned this forum before making similar purchases and been better off because of it.
Unless we see a resolution to this issue over a set of dented headers, people will certainly be thinking twice about this vendor before handing over their hard earned dollars. I would have thought $700 is a cheap investment in one's World-wide reputation !

well, I think we should also wait to hear Mark's side of things, as far as what efforts have been made to remedy the situation. I would hope that it would not require him "giving away" a $700 header (or whatever his actual costs are). I would hope that if it was damaged in shipping, he has a remedy with UPS for that?
hell, if worse comes to worst, I would be willing to buy the dented header at a discount for one of my driver-cars, to offset the loss. I'm sure others would as well.

This hasn't been resolved nor even talked about. I'm suppose to let it go apparently.
I've tried everything possible to resolve this. There's just not any communication. I've tried every channel possible.
I was told to do an insurance claim when the box wasn't damaged. That's clearly insurance fraud.
Several people keep telling me their shocked I'm still on the site. I guess I am too when all it takes is a click of a button to just get rid of me. Why can't I just get another header? I'm not trying to be unfair nor create an argument. I've bought several stuff prior to this and was very happy. What happened that I deserve this?
