SoCal gathering Nov 19 in Burbank

Post by ventura ace »

In case you haven't heard, Denise Burchette and daughter Randi are special guests at the new Fiat 500 Abarth unveiling this week at the LA car show. That's Wednesday. We're going to get together on Saturday morning, Nov 19 at 9:00 AM at Autobooks in Burbank, to let Denise tell us everything there is to know about the Abarth. Actually, the show is open to the public starting on the 18th, so you can go there yourself to see the Abarth, too!

Autobooks is a popular gathering place for car folks, and has ample parking for your Fiats. Drive on down (up, across, whatever). There is a neat little Italian Deli across the street for lunch.
Autobooks address:

2900 W. Magnolia Blvd.
Burbank, CA 91505
818.845.0707

See you Saturday morning . . .

I believe that you are referring to the Toy Drive that leaves from Autobooks on Dec 4.

Hey everyone! I hope to see many of my SoCal friends this weekend. Randi and I have been enjoying the sights and sounds of LA, including the friendly honks of a thousand horns and protests about Medicare right under our window. When do these people sleep?! The auto show was fantastic, and Darryl Stacey, Randi and I were treated like royalty. There are really some unique cars being shown. I'll try to post pics of some. Can't wait to see you Saturday!

There was a lottery drawing at the Fiat Freak Out this past summer in Nashville, TN, with 2 grand prizes for all expense paid trips to the Abarth unveiling at the LA auto show. Denise and the Stacey's had the 2 luckey lottery numbers.

I think the fix was in. If i was doing such a give away and wanted to pick who would give me the greatest amount of positive exposure, Denise would be at the top of the list. All this show is fine, i just hope Denise can talk them out of a set of keys for a little spirited test drive. Then i would have a reason to be jealous.

I wish I could talk them into a set of keys. Heck, I got into trouble for just sitting in the dang car....of course, it was hidden in a secret location the night before the show that Alvon and I sniffed out...but all I did was adjust the seat to get a better feel. The black marks on the concrete was NOT from me. I swear!
