I used a piece of 3/8'' aluminum and the original bolt from the manifold to plug it there, just left the exhaust side as it was. Sometimes that tube on the exhaust side is frozen in there, but if you get it out I think you can plug it with a M22x1.50 on the exhaust manifold itself.

Another option is to cut and pinch the EGR tube on the exhaust side.

ok thanks , basically i got to plug off both holes, as u say pinch the pipe off on the exhaust or leave it, but get something to go over the other hole on the intake .? or just leave that side be?

If you pinch the pipe, then you don't need to plug anything, just leave the holes in the head open. Up to you, of course. I plugged mine for a cleaner look.

one hose to a ported vacuum source, the other hose to the egr valve. I doubt you will be using an egr system with your new setup. It would require installing a complete egr system from a 77-78 engine

You can plug it with a M18x1.50

what this for . and what do i do with it. look like it runs back along the tranny,. i think


so basically the only vacuum hose would ne the vacuum advance that i have . all others are to be closed?
they are all just left overs from the smog system? rite

Yeah, the only vacuum line needed will be for your advance. As far as the picture goes, hard to say, but it looks like possibly an old fuel return line. What side of the car is it on, drivers or passenger?

Leave it as is. It opens the two ends to each other once a certain temp is reached, so it won't hurt anything to just leave it there. It threads into the coolant passage inside the manifold.
