Well, I guess I was right. Problem with a vendor. That is one of Mark Allisons original products. (Second Date)? There were problems with the first one? Would like to hear his side, but for $700...he should hand deliver it. Was it poor quality control or poor packing? I hope you two can get together and work this out.

I don't even think he would talk about it. No matter how I feel or say I can't even get my money back.
Unless I take it up with UPS. But the box wasn't damaged even though it was only the thickness of a quarter.
If you don't hear from me, then I must be blocked for no reason!

Was the package insured? You don;t always have to note damage at time of receipt (though it is easier). But if there was no insurance, you're likely hosed. That being said: I've sure shipped a LOT of headers and shorty-exhausts over the years, and I've never seen this sort of damage from freight. Is the header that fragile? Or is it pretty substantial?
I'm no Boy-Racer..... but if I can't take every on-ramp at TWICE the posted limit.... I'm a total failure!

If this is how he treats Brady and Grittracing, two of our best rebuilders and consistent members, then good luck to regular Joe Schmo when there is an issue.

By the way, where are all the loud mouths that stuck their noses in on this same point months ago when I was having this discussion with Mark. Believe me, we remember you, and your silence is noted.

I'm not Vendor Bashing :!: There will be times when a item just isn't right. I just wanted to make the point that after a total of four headers. Neither myself or the other person can get an undamaged one that is made correctly and now being cold shouldered. This is something I feel I should be allowed to talk about. This is a Forum. What? We are limited to what we talk about? Email me and I'll give you the full story!

I recall about a year and a half ago ringing the warning buzzer about our moderator setting himself up as a demigod at this site. I was ridiculed off the site by the loud mouths that Beachboy is referring to. I too would like to know where these same loud mouths are right now.

Reminder to all, this is not a free speech site. It is owned by an individual and moderated by another self-serving person. Anyone of us could be banned for posting disparaging remarks against either Evan or Mark, or in complaint of their behavior. When this happens, it will be too bad for the participants, as they cannot provide the customer feedback we all need and expect from forums like these.

The site exists at Evan’s whim, and in practice is moderated by Mark to provide Allison Automotive with free advertising that is free from healthy competition. It will be really interesting to follow the progress or lack of same concerning this particular post, and Mr. Allison’s reaction to the customer complaints.

I wish you well, Brady. Perhaps you’ll have better luck with customer service at some other Fiat parts suppliers.

I, like many others, have been following Brady's project and am looking forward to seeing it reach fruition. I would hate to see this thread lost now because of a dispute. Perhaps a new thread could be started to discuss this issue of it does indeed require further discussion.
