i got a 69 sitting in my garage, i should do the same thing your doing, redo the whole car :) i have thought about itit no so much the money it the know how and the space , lol but as u said u learn and u go too and my brother is the body man so i do have advantages

I have done a resto job like this when I was in my early twenty's with no wife and kids and it took me three years and a lot of money. My Friends where making fun of me because it took me so long and they did not think I am going to finish.
After I finally finished they could clearly tell the difference to their one year restorations and I earned a lot of respect.
Most important was that I could walk in to my garage with a smile on my face and that is not always easy when you are a perfectionist.

Damb you guys.... you have me thinking about the 68 for sale near here. It's a runner in good shape but needs the shock towers swapped out. :? Perhaps in the spring if its still about I'll take another look.
Brady has/is done/doing an exeptional job. I look forward to his posts and pics here every week,including his foray into carving totem poles. Love the breeze beater and seatbelt guides as well.
