cylinder head stud specs...?

Post by Raze »

I've got some cylinder head cam housing studs that are done and won't torque due to stripping threads, after 40 years of service I figure while I have the head apart I'll put in new hardware, anyone know what the specs on these studs are?

What kind pf specs are you looking for? Dimensions? Torque spec? Or type of material?

Is this for a 1438/1608 that has studs instead of bolts holding the camtowers?

Sorry I bricked on that one, 1608 motor, and I need to know about the studs themselves, as in what thread pitch, length, make, tensile strength, material, who makes them, availability, etc, not
