The Brady Stainless steel Fuel filler Hose Guard

Post by Fiat88 »

Got my fuel hose guard installed a few days ago. Brady makes some neat and quality stuff but you guys already knew that. The fit was perfect. I rinsed the car before taking these pics so excuse the water drops.

Nice, something to consider.
Do you still trust the Panhard rod, it looks a little dented. That thing could cause you a big problem in a fast curve.

Yeah thats on my list to replace. I normally just drive locally in 30 mph speed zones around my area but will replace it. It's not only dented but welded together on the left side.

OK, I learn new stuff all the time, but I have to ask, what's the purpose of the fuel filler hose guard? Are spiders prone to damage of the fuel filler hose at that particular point? Must be or someone wouldn't have created a product for it.

Must be for when you have the 33's on the fiat, a case of beer on the passanger seat and the trunk rack ready to accomodate a moose or deer as you go 4x2'ing up the hill?

They came from the factory with the hose guard. Brady just "improved" on the stock version by making em out of stainless.
