More progress
Re: More progress
There is a video on Griots showing what each one is used for. I would look at that to see which one you may need.

Pray to the Fiat God's!
I put on the windshield. Please don't crack.
and now the alternator is on the correct side.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you Brady, I've been through a few of them. You may have to re-adjust it after you get the doors and vent windows on. You think you are nervous now, wait until you have to fasten the top latches.

Re: More progress
I don't know. One of my buddies tried to install one and it cracked on him.
Good thought Joe about loosening the windshield for the initial top latching.

Brady,
Maybe keep the bolts loose as you keep adding more and more weight to the body, That way the windshield finds a happy place. You are just going to keep adding weight to it and those open bodies do flex a bit.

Re: More progress
Im pretty sure the cracking issue only exists when putting glass into the frame/seal. If you're transferring an entire frame, I think you're okay

Re: More progress
If you search, I've written several extensive posts on my experiences with used windshield glass.
"couldnt you loosen it up when you go to latch it, latch it then tighten it up"the windshield"
Not possible. The doors and vent windows must be in place if you are going to latch the top. If the top is latched, the doors are closed and the bolts are loose, the minute you open the door, the top will pull the windshield frame back.
You have to install the doors and vent windows then adjust the frame on each side individually, close the doors then latch the top.

ditto on Matt's post.
Congrats on getting the alternator sorted! Looks like you'll be on Jason's Xmas card list

Re: More progress
I put a new master cylinder in and noticed it was starting to rust. So I took it back out and painted it. If I were you, I would paint yours before install.
