I have two engines and various parts. I don't know what they are off of. I know at least one was carbed. I'll start with the first engine. the valve covers are off and stuff. Needs MAJOR cleaning. Not sure what I can save or refinish. Thought about building most of an engine off one of these to cut on rebuild time in the future.
Engine Identifications - What's worth keeping/selling
Re: Engine Identifications - What's worth keeping/selling
Just to clarify. I don't know what I'm doing with my engines yet, but I'm going to disassemble them and clean stuff up and paint it up so I have it if I need it in the future. Or possibly sell it in the future. I just need to know what I have. My current car is a 1981 Spider 2000, so if nothing on here is the same or anything that can help tune my engine, I will be trading/selling it at some point.

It's all worth keeping IMHO. I love spare parts!! Lots of stuff interchangable in our cars.
Advice, taking things apart just spreads em all over the place, then things get lost. If you have no immediate plans for an engine rebuild, I would just leave it assembled.

I'm very organized. They'd all go into boxes labeled nicely and all be refurbished. At least everything that doesn't require machining. But I want things in oil bags etc so they don't rust out more and get nasty. That's what's happened to them already. They were left outside under a tarp for a while by PO.
