Hello all you fellow Fiat owners! I'm new here, I'm Ron Luxmore, my wife is Kristin (Kris or Krissy). I just bought a 1982 Spider, and like I told Mark, it's been a while coming. I had a 1979 Spider when I got married in 1980, but my wife didn't like riding with the top down, she had a 1976 Datsun roadster but the top was always up. So we sold my Fiat. I have wanted one ever since, just had to wait until she got older and slower so I could stay out of reach if she came after me for buying one. Just picked this one up 2 weeks ago. I'm glad I ran across this forum and expect to be joining any get-togethers that are coming up, work permitting. We live in Lancaster, Ca.

Hey Mark, sure, but excuse my ignorance, how do you include pictures into these messages? Thanks, Ron

That is good. It just so happens that flickr is what I get with my ATT Yahoo DSL. I figured it out, but it took a few minutes.
I suggest moving/copying that tutorial to your "Check Here First" folder.
I might have found it by searching but I've fallen out of the habit of searching forums. So many are built on vBulletin and the search is awful - no booleans, so adding words to narrow the search only brings more matches.

Sorry to hijack your intro rlux4. Good luck with the pictures. It's not too hard really. I spent more time cropping and trimming to get the file size and resolution internet friendly than I did hosting them.

Hey Ron,
I met you out at Mark's shop. I think you told me your wife is
shy which prevents you from installing Mark's header...hmmmm...maybe
he can rig up a silencer for ya. :D
Welcome!
