1980 fiat 2000

car been sitting 6 years, it fires and runs for a second then stops, fuel pump is pumping, carb is getting gas when i push the throttle,. so possible the float
i just want to see if it runs half azz before doing any real changes

if that was a first atempt,thats ok .was the carb leaking?
when they sit they get dryed out gaskets expand slow the next time should go well.

look at that picture, that a water pool sitting on top of the intake manifold, i seen it ther so i soaked it up with a rag and when turning it over, it would fire and back fire, so i looked again and the water is back
BLOWN head gasket or what ?

it on the carb side right up front by the timing belt housing

double check all your hoses "coolant"
and the choke has coolant also.

fuel pump dont work any more now. so it time to swap for a electric any ideas?

a carbed motor should take a swap no problemto a carbed motor
