Maybe, best bet is to get good pads for the spider though, they are cheap anyways. Mark of Alision auto sells the EBC line, I really like them because my manual-braked spider needs the extra grip so I went with the EBC yellowstuff, the only problem is that the pad material was too thick and I could not have the anti-squeel shims in until I laid down 5000 or so KMS. I hear that they are easy on the rotors compared to a semi-metallic also..
