1976 124 spider thermovalve

Post by powellwm »

I've been trying to get my 1976 in running order. does anyone know about the Thermovalve (located between the carb and engine on the intake manifold) where does it hook up to.
I read on another post it was taken out and plugged, I don't know how important this thing is, anyone have info on this?

It's part of the EGR system.

part of the ERG valve... I do have a hose from the ERG valve going to the carb. going to connect it to one side of the thermovalve then the other side to the carb, is that how it goes?
