Hello
I'm looking at getting a floor jack to make working on my spider a little easier.
Do any of you have reccomendations on ones to look for?
Also ones to avoid.
Thanks
Geoff
Any recommendations on floor jack
Re: Any recommendations on floor jack
I picked up a decent orange low profile one at Harbor Freight that had many good reviews, although I don't see it listed now. Was under $80.

Usually I Iike the Craftsman stuff at Sears but about a year and a half ago I bought a low profile aluminum "Racing Jack" and it started leaking fluid less than a year later. Unlike other Craftsmam tools that have a lifetime warranty Sears would not replace it nor give me a refund. And spare parts aren't available for it. So be wary of Sears jacks.

Hi Geoff,
I picked up the Harbor Freight low profile orange 3 ton jack. Best money that I've spent. Make sure you get a low profile jack. Where are you located in NJ? Check our site at NJFIATS.ORG We have an upcoming breakfast meeting. Come on out and meet everybody. George
