As I was looking at the engine tonight, I noticed the missing cold start valve...found the connector and the opening where the cold start valve should go. Question - should I be worried about replacing this? Please see picture. The hole where the valve should go has "something" in the bottom.
Also - I have this relay mounted - see picture...What is this?

Thanks for any words of wisdom.

Re: Identify and advice
The cold start valve only comes into play when it's..... cold. That hasn't been an issue for most of the country this year. It only activates for a few seconds on start up in cold weather because a cold engine needs a richer mixture and our FI cars don't have a carb to choke. How much it will affect you won't be evident until you're hit with winter weather. If you want to replace it Mark (our moderator) sell rebuilt ones for about a good a price as you'll find.

Thanks...i will check with Mark. Don't really think I will need it in Florida, but if its cheap??
Any guess on the relay? There is another one identical to it right next to this one WITH wires attached.
